Silverback Chiropractic is a family business located on the Sunshine Coast. We offer clients a range of health, fitness, and chiropractic services at our Mooloolaba and Maroochydore clinic designed to improve overall health and wellbeing.
ABOUT DR ADAM EPSKAMP:
Silverback Chiropractic is owned and operated by Dr Adam Epskamp. Drawing on over a decade of experience, Dr Epskamp has practiced as a Chiropractor and fitness professional in Australia and Canada and is excited to share his passion for holistic health.
It was Dr Epskamp’s own chiropractor, Dr Stacey Burke, who initially encouraged him to consider chiropractic as a career path. The thought of helping people to improve their health and effecting change the way that his own chiropractor had inspired him! Within six months of this conversation, Adam was sitting in his first class at Murdoch Universtity, Western Australia. After 5 years of study, Dr Epskamp emerged with a Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic) and Bachelor of Chiropractic (with Honours) and has been practicing ever since.
Dr Epskamp’s passion for supporting the health and wellbeing of his clients extends beyond chiropractic. He also has a long history of experience in the fitness industry. Dr Epskamp has worked as a fitness instructor since 2007 and is currently a Les Mills Master Trainer and Presenter. In addition, Dr Epskamp has completed specialised training in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Functional Movement Screen (FMS) systems which provides a unique bridge between fitness and chiropractic care. Dr Epskamp continues to expand his health knowledge by exploring areas of nutrition, gut health and women’s health.
FLEXIBLE payment options:
We aim to make the process of seeking assistance with your family’s health as easy as possible. Silverback Chiropractic accepts referrals from all other health care professionals, including general practitioners, dentists, physiotherapists and more. We also support clients through the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) for supporting both active and retired service personnel, subject to a referral from a general practitioner.
For those without health insurance, you may be eligible for the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) / Enhanced Patient Care (EPC) scheme which covers the cost of up to five practitioner sessions per year. Please speak to your general practitioner to obtain a referral.
